It’s been a long-ish vintage, what with the rains and cooler than usual weather. The Grenache took its time to come to fully ripen to optimum flavour and maturity. We hand-picked the grapes selectively over several weeks, to choose the best quality grape bunches. We did the last harvest this Saturday – all of the Granache grapes are now safely in the vats!
Some of our neighbors in the Barossa are still harvesting – it’s such a relief to have finished this huge job at our place!
